How AquaOne Works

AquaOne uses a sealed source design — clean water and used water are physically separated. The pump sits inside the sealed clean tank and only ever touches fresh source water. Every 6, 8, or 12 hours the bowl automatically drains and refills from the sealed clean source. No recirculation. No contamination cycle.

Every other fountain moves one body of water in a circle — bowl, pump, filter, back to the bowl. It looks like it's moving. It isn't getting cleaner. Fresh water on a schedule beats moving water that's been recycled since Tuesday.

Why It’s Better for Cat Health

Every other fountain on the market recirculates the same body of water through the bowl, pump, and filter. Saliva, hair, and bacteria re-enter within seconds of your cat drinking. AquaOne's Sealed Source Design means the water your cat drinks has never been contaminated. The drinking surface is 304 stainless steel — no plastic chin contact, no chin acne pathway. Fresh water delivered on a schedule means your cat always has a clean surface to drink from.

What's Included

The Problem

That Slimy Film Inside Your Cat's Fountain?

That's What Your Cat Is Drinking.
It's Serratia marcescens. It lives behind your pump, inside the filter housing, in crevices you can't reach. Cleaning the bowl doesn't fix it.
Other fountains share water between the bowl, pump, filter, and cat, allowing saliva and hair re-enter. Carbon filters don't reduce bacteria. They host it.
The pump only ever touches clean source water. The drinking surface refills from a sealed source every 6, 8, or 12 hours — whichever you choose. The slime never starts.
Why PureStream

We Didn't Redesign The Cat Fountain. We Started Over.

Every other fountain on the market shares one body of water between the bowl, the pump, the filter, and the cat. AquaOne uses two physically isolated sealed chambers, and the pump never sits in the water your cat drinks from.
*Tap a point below to learn more

Sealed Source Design,
physically isolated

2.6L sealed clean source. 1.35L sealed wastewater. The cat never accesses either. The drinking surface refills from clean source every 6, 8, or 12 hours - every drop sealed until the moment
she drinks.

Pump never sits in
dirty water

Sealed inside the clean-water tank. Only ever touches clean source water — no hair, no saliva, no biofilm. Other pumps die because they sit in what your cat drinks from. Ours never does.

No chemical filters. No carbon. No bacterial substrate

Clean tank → drinking tray → wastewater tank. Water flows one way and never loops back — nothing to filter, nothing to recirculate. Unlike every other fountain on the market. No cartridge tax. No bacterial colonisation.
How To Use AquaOne

What Ownership Actually Looks Like

Daily

Battery lasts ~15 days per charge. The pump only activates briefly during each scheduled refill. Silent otherwise. Below 25 decibels when running.

Every 6, 8, or 12 Hours

The bowl water dumps
automatically and refills from the sealed clean source. You don't do anything.

Weekly

Rinse the stainless drinking tray. Wipe the head unit with
a damp cloth.
No 25-minute
disassembly.
No little brushes.

Every 3 months

Run a vinegar-water rinse through the system for
descaling. Done.
The auto-drain and auto-refill
cycle removes the daily lifting and
scrubbing that traditional

fountains require.
For
owners with mobility

limitations, this is

what makes a fountain

actually workable.

You Threw Your Last
Fountain In The Bin. We Get It.

You've tried PetLibro. Catit. Maybe Drinkwell. The pump died. The slime came back. Every other fountain on the market has the same three design flaws built in. AquaOne solves all three.

"I couldn't believe the difference. My cat walked straight up to it and hasn't stopped drinking since. She used to barely touch her old fountain but now she's at it multiple times a day. Worth every penny."

For The Faucet Cat

Your Cat Only Drinks From The Tap? We Hear You.

The faucet-obsessed cat is its own category. She'll yowl until you turn on the kitchen tap. She refuses bowls on principle.
AquaOne dispenses fresh water from
a stainless steel surface every 6, 8,
or 12 hours -
fresh, clean water
always ready when she comes to
drink.
Most faucet cats adopt within the first week.
More Than One Cat?

Two Cats. Three Cats. Four Cats. AquaOne Handles It.

Most cat parents end up with two. Here's why:
1
Cats look for water in different spots. One fountain upstairs, one down means fresh water's always close, so they drink more.
2
More than one cat? A single fountain turns territorial — the bold one guards it, the shy one quietly misses out.
3
Two means one's always running while the other's cleaned. Your cat's never left without.
Better hydration protects their kidneys and keeps them healthier as they age.
Health Concerns?

For The Owner Whose Vet Asked Her To Get The Cat Drinking More

Your vet has told you she needs more water. Maybe she's senior.
Maybe she's been diagnosed with CKD or had a UTI. You want her water
to be clean, fresh, and available when she goes to it.
Owners in the same position consistently report greater peace of mind once the daily refill chore stops being theirs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my cat actually drink from it?

Most cats start within 24–48 hours. Place PureStream next to their current bowl for 3 days, then remove the old one. If your cat doesn't take to it, you're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee — send it back, full refund.

Does the water run continuously, like a fountain?

No — and that's the point.

AquaOne isn't a recirculating fountain. It fills the 304 stainless steel tray with fresh water, then completely empties and refills it from a sealed clean tank every 6, 8, or 12 hours — whichever you choose. Between cycles, the water sits still.

Traditional fountains keep the same water moving in a loop, and that loop is exactly how they go wrong: your cat drinks, saliva and hair go back into the bowl, through the pump, into the filter, and back out again. The water looks like it's moving. It isn't getting cleaner.

AquaOne gives your cat still, genuinely fresh water instead of moving, recycled water.

If your cat specifically needs to see water moving to drink, this isn't the right product for her — and our 30-day guarantee covers you if that turns out to be the case.

How is PureStream different from PetLibro, Catit, or PetSafe?

Every other fountain on the market recirculates the same water through a submerged pump 24/7. That pump builds biofilm (the slimy gunk) within days, contaminates the water your cat drinks, and is the #1 cause of fountain failure. PureStream's dual-chamber design dispenses fresh water from a sealed tank — the pump never touches dirty water. No biofilm. No constant noise. No filters.

Do I need to buy replacement filters?

No. PureStream doesn't use filters — ever. Owners of filter-based fountains spend $60–$120/year on replacements. With PureStream, that's $0. The dual-chamber design keeps water clean without needing one.

How loud is it?

Silent. Most fountains run a pump 24/7 — that's the constant hum that drives owners (and cats) crazy. PureStream only activates briefly to dispense water, then goes back to zero noise. No background hum, ever.

How often do I refill the water?

Every 10–13 days for one cat. Every 4–7 days for multi-cat households. (Compare that to daily top-ups with most recirculating fountains.)

How often do I clean it?

Once a week. Under 5 minutes. Wipe the stainless steel drinking tray, empty the waste tank, done. No pump to disassemble, no filter to swap, no biofilm to scrub.

Is it safe for my cat? (Materials & health)

Yes. The drinking tray — the only surface your cat's whiskers and chin touch — is 304 food-grade stainless steel. The reservoir is BPA-free plastic and stays sealed: water only meets the tray when dispensed. No plastic taint, no chin acne risk.

Will it work for multi-cat households?

Yes — but most multi-cat owners do better with two. Cats drink more when there's a fountain on each level of the house, and some cats simply don't like sharing a water source. One PureStream handles 1–2 cats easily (2.6L sealed reservoir, refill every 4–7 days). For 3+ cats, or homes with cats on different floors, we recommend two — one upstairs, one downstairs.

How long does the battery last? Do I need to hide a cord?

About 15 days per charge — the pump only runs during the refill cycle, so nothing draws power in between. No cord to hide, either: unlike AC-only fountains, AquaOne runs on battery, so it goes where your cat actually drinks rather than wherever the outlet is. Recharge about twice a month, or leave it plugged in if you prefer.

What's your guarantee?

30-day money-back guarantee. If your cat doesn't take to PureStream — or you're unhappy for any reason — Contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right. If anything is faulty we replace it free, and you keep the original. If it simply isn't for you, we'll agree a refund — and because we can't hygienically resell a used fountain, you keep that too. Plus a 1-year warranty on the fountain itself. We engineered out the #1 cause of fountain failure (a pump submerged in recirculating water), and we stand behind it.

Vet-Recommended Cat Hydration Device
Our Guarantee

Try It For 30 Days

Full refund, no questions asked. If it isn't right, contact us and we'll sort it out. A used fountain can't be returned for hygiene reasons, so whatever we agree, it stays with you.

Customer photo review of Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

I love not having to deal with that slime that the other fountains had after 3 days. I only have to clean the metal tray. I like the idea of separate water, one for clean and one of dirty.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Customer photo review of Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

At first I was sceptical but this fountain has actually been really great! It did take my old little man about 2 + weeks to get used to it. He scares easily with funny noises like this fountain makes when emptying and refilling. He has really come around to it though and I think he loves the fact that he can sit with his head more upright. The ONE complaint I have is that my cat drinks a LOT and the top bowl will become empty long before the refill time occurs. I wish in that regard that the sensor would refill sooner than the scheduled timer or sense that the stainless steel bowl was empty/dry.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Customer photo review of Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

I love the concept of this fountain and one of my cats loves it too. The problem is I have 3 cats, and one won’t drink from the fountain because no water is moving, the second one will only occasionally drink from it and still ask for water at the faucet and the third one loves it. I would love if there was a way to recirculate the water in the drinking dish, but have been told that’s not an option, though I’ve seen videos/pictures showing a version of the fountain doing that.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Customer photo review of Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Setup was easy and after a couple days of acclimation, my cat has no issues drinking from it. I feel much better knowing that she has a consistently cleaner supply of water now compared to her previous fountain. I only wish I knew about this product sooner.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Customer photo review of Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Shortly after setting it up my cat was drinking out of it. As advertised it works well and it is easy to clean. With one cat the fountains goes 5 to 6 days before needing to fill it. It took a fairly long time to get it, but well worth the wait.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Customer photo review of Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

I really like this fountain. I feel good knowing that my kitties are getting fresh water. It’s super easy to clean. I take it to the sink and wash the stainless steel plate in warm soapy water, rinse out the tanks and fill it up again. My kitties know the sound of it draining and filling up and they come running. I have three kittens and I find myself cleaning and refilling it about every two days. I’m know I should have another one but I can’t quite manage that right now. I highly recommend this fountain.

I was skeptical at first but my cat started using it right away. I really like how the clean water stays separate because my old fountain would get gross so fast. Easy to set up too.

Love this fountain. The fact that I can see the dirty water collecting separately is honestly what sold me. Makes me feel better about what my cat is drinking.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Customer photo review of Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Very useful routines for my animals. Keeps the water clean and purified. Eays to remove and clean the bottom portion and top portion without any hassles. Built in filter is such a huge game changer. Not overly huge and fits nicely next to their food bowls. Overall recommend for any pet owners.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

My cat took to the fountain right away. The only thing that is spooking her is the sound when it dumps the water and refills. She is 16 years old with kidney issues. I am hoping 5his is the healthiest fountain for her.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

My cats took to this water fountain right away. We have 3 cats, and are finding we have to have it cycle every 6 hours (middle setting) as they have been drinking it dry before it is ready to cycle again. But much better not having to deal with slimy filters every couple of days. I really didn't think it was good for them to drink that dirty water and think seems to solve the problem.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

After 2 weeks of cautious "stalking" the water fountain was deemed to be "not dangerous" and the cats have all now determined that it is wonderful to have fresh flowing water whenever they need hydration.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

My husband and I are very impressed with the fountains. (We bought 2). They are quiet, and our cats (all 3) like them. All are drinking well which did not happen with previous fountains. Love that they are cordless.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Had a little problem with the water not staying in the pan but I must say support help me immediately and I was able to solve the problem. As far as cats loving it I have two water fountains and two cats they love it.

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

I love the Purestream Fountain for me. It is so easy to clean and no filters (that's the best part)! I have not yet seen my cats drink from the fountain but I think they do drink when I cannot watch them so I am unable to say they like the fountain. But, I certainly do!

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Both of our cats took to it right away. This really does make the "water bowl" experience much better for our cats and us. Having the mat for the unit is also a great help as one of our cats can be a bit messy when he drinks. Thanks!

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Absolutely satisfied beyond belief with this innovative product — what took sooo long to bring a wonderful product like this to the market. We bought two … one for each level of our two-story home. All three of our cats love these fountains … and ‘took to them’ immediately. It was like they knew that they were going to be receiving/ drinking clear, fresh water with every sip! WINNING!!!

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Easy peasy to deal with and even catch my cat using it way more often than ever before! Smart design, quiet operating, and easy to maintain!

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

The water is cleaner for sure . I like that it dumps the old water . I set mine to dump the older water every 6 hours It’s working good

Purestream AquaOne - Automatic Cat Fountain

Took a long time to arrive and in between I lost my little kitty but I have a small chihuahua and he loves it! Very easy to set up and use. Gives me peace of mind knowing his water is clean all the time. Definitely recommend!
